Light and Picture
My job is to tell a story, and it's through the lens that we can find a stronger perspective. There are plenty of incredible technologies and cameras out there, but the root of a good tale always points back to the content. My body of work is intentional to this concept. That being said, the technical pieces of the cameras, lenses, recorders and computers that make everything run well are no mystery to me. I worked for two years as the Media Tech at a film school, six years as a live performance videographer and multicam editor at Seattle radio station KEXP, and a collective seven years as a camera operator. My expertise is split between showing an audience a new perspective as well as what to use to do so effectively. I am well versed in lighting and cinematography and will use these to create the images that capture an audience.
